Mabel’s Tap-Shoes – steam cleaned, gently oiled and ‘brutally deodorised’ – are now boxed and cooling off. Waiting for the next time they are called upon to dance.
Mr Wonderful called to say that he and ‘Regardless’ (his Chauffeur) are now back in Las Vegas – and packing for a few days vacation in Palm Springs with his forth wife: Princess Salmon and his big drinking buddy: ‘Booze Dog’.
He still has the note from the Fox – ‘21st Century Fox’- as he now calls him. He tells me that he grabbed the note on his return journey to the airport – and underneath the note was an old cassette tape.
He says that he can’t wait to play it – but he’s going to wait ‘till he’s sipping on a Vodka tonic and lounging on his favourite poolside lounger. What a guy! Stay tuned...
As for me? I just want to say a sincere thank you on behalf of: “Legs” Larry Smith (Thanks sincerely) to all of you that came to the Bonzos Anniversary Concerts – you were truly amazing – a delight – an inspiration to behold! (Sob!)
The Sardinian ‘Bonzo Troupe’ – the boys from LA and Chicago – the folks from Japan – you were all wonderful! Larry was thrilled beyond belief.
In closing – Larry has asked me to wish you all a truly wonderful 2007 – may you all find peace, happiness (and the gold watch he leant you!).
