Composer, lyricist, writer, designer, artist, producer

Larry Smith a.k.a. "Legs" Larry Smith followed an education in art and design (Oxford, London and New York) by first shocking and then completely baffling society as a founding member of the legendary:

Larry has since toured, appeared and worked across the world with such artistes as The Beatles, John Cale, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Sir Elton John, Keith Moon, Alvin Lee, Jon Lord, Sir Paul McCartney, Jim Capaldi, We/7 Innes, Ray Cooper, Guy Dagul, Steve Ferrone, Zoot Money, Gus Dudgeon, Bob Gallo, Eric Idle, Peter Cardinelli, Michael Palin, Todd Rungdren, Terry Jones, Steve Winwood, Rod Stewart & The Faces, John & Yoko, The Travelling Wilburys and Yes...


Apart from his recording projects, he has exhibited paintings and graphics, designed stage-sets and costumes, appeared in a movie or two and dared to lecture at the Oxford Union. He has written a musical for Dutch radio (KRO) entitled: "7 Days In The Life Of Dick" and his original and somewhat bizarre artwork has graced everything from album covers to major international publications. He has been responsible for designing and directing many giant rock n' roll 'Legstravaganzas' both in England and America - from Sir Elton John to Alvin Lee and Bonzo Dog.


As well as conceiving and developing THE LONDON MUSEUM OF EROTICA LTD - he was recently working with Record Producer Gus Dudgeon (Sir Elton John, Beach Boys, Elkie Brooks, David Bowie, etc;) on a soundtrack CD for his movie : "PALE ADVENTURE." He has since hooked up with Composer/Producer: Guy Dagul and has written several soundtracks for Television.


Earlier this year, Larry appeared at a Bonzo Dog filmed 'reunion' at the Astoria, London - guests included Stephen Fry, Paul Merton, Adrian Edmondson and Phil Jupitus. Also, the Bonzos will on Tour throughout November. Plans are in place to release and publish his autobiography: 'LIFE IS LIKE A HORSE'S ARSE - (It Should Always Have A Tale To Tell)' along with a collection of his artworks. Apart from various other commitments, he has created COMMOTION PICTURES in order to produce new, original and innovative works for stage, screen and television.
